Premier League Weekend Tips

    De Bruyne

We preview the best Premier League game’s this weekend providing stats, predictions and free tips.

    Leicester City vs Tottenham Hotspur

    Sunday 23rd May 16.00pm

We have a huge game at the King Power Stadium as Leicester City host Tottenham Hotspur with both teams needing a win to secure European Qualification. Leicester, fresh from winning the FA Cup need a win to qualify for the Champions League but their fate depends upon results in the Chelsea and Liverpool matches as they currently sit in fifth place but are joint on points with Liverpool.

Tottenham need a win to secure Europa League qualification and currently sit in seventh. Recent news suggest Harry Kane will be leaving in the summer and i doubt Europa League qualification will do much to change that but Spurs will still want to finish strongly.

Both teams matches have featured goals recently with four out of five Leicester games finishing with both sides scoring and three out of five Spurs games.

    Prediction: 2-1

    Manchester City vs Everton

    Sunday 23rd May 16.00pm

There is not an awful lot on the line for Manchester City with Premier League title already wrapped up but that hasn’t stopped them from being involved in entertaining and high scoring games recently. The opposite can be said of Everton, they technically are still in with a chance of European qualification and have been involved in some very low scoring matches recently. Three of Everton’s last four matches finished with only one goal, the other was a 0-0.

Manchester City had Cancelo sent off in their most recent game against Brighton but still managed to score two goals, losing 3-2 in the end. In the game before that they beat Newcastle 3-4.

Everton have taken plenty of corners recently with them winning 7 and 11 in their two previous matches and their line is very low at over 3.5 corners, something they managed in their previous head to head with Manchester City.

    Prediction: 2-1

    Aston Villa vs Chelsea

    Sunday 23rd May 16.00pm

Aston Villa have nothing to play for but that didn’t stop them beating Tottenham 1-2 in their last match and Chelsea certainly have a lot on the line with them needing a win to secure Champions League Qualification depending on results elsewhere. Chelsea avenged their FA Cup Final defeat to Leicester in midweek with a 2-1 win in the Premier League. That game saw plenty of action with some feisty moments in the closing stages as both teams lost control.

The home side have been excellent for goals recently with eight of their last nine seeing both sides find the net but for Chelsea that is only two out of five and under Tuchel goals have been limited.

Villa have received plenty of cards recently with ten in their last five. Chelsea have only received six in the same period but their game against Leicester saw six cards issued.

    Prediction: 0-1

    Liverpool vs Crystal Palace

    Sunday 23rd May 16.00pm

After their 0-3 win against Burnley midweek Liverpool have now won four matches in a row, Crystal Palace have won two of their last five and have been involved in games featuring plenty of goals. Palace games have seen both sides score in seven of their last ten whilst for Liverpool that is six out of ten. Both sides last three have all seen three or more goals.

Liverpool are involved in the race for Champions League qualification and need to win, Crystal Palace have nothing to play for but that hasn’t stopped them scoring in nine of their last ten games. The only blank was against Manchester City.

The head to head record is also of interest with Liverpool winning the previous match 0-7 and game before that 4-0.

    Prediction: 2-1
